Wait- A Poem, By Alexia Jasmene

I sit and wait for the bus,

Expansive ocean above,

My minds eye falls into the clouds

Giving perspective with a smile.

I breathe and fall into the ocean of the sky,

Feeling lost in everything. 

I breathe into my feet and return to ground,

Feeling myself expand and breathe.

And I wait, 

And breathe, 

And sit,

In loving awareness,

Of the present moment.
